Welcome to Hotel Goldenes Kreuz, the former hosting lodge to the emperors and princes.

The “Goldenes Kreuz” overlooks the Haidplatz, one of the most beautiful and central places of downtown Regensburg.
The second floor with its ten individual decorated hotel rooms with the most modern comfort is the Beletage of this building.

The hospitality and relaxing atmosphere of the Café Goldenes Kreuz is today favoured by the citizens and visitors of Regensburg.
The hall in the ground floor of the building, which was one of the most important guesthouses over centuries, was a meeting point for the mighty – King Ludwig I. of Bavaria or the later German Emperor Wilhelm I. of Preußen and Emperor Franz Josef I. of Austria.

Since 1968 these rooms house the traditional Café Goldenes Kreuz, were we serve your breakfast until 2:00 pm every day.

All rooms (sizes up to 38 square meters) and the Suite (96 square meters) can be booked as Single or Double bedrooms, and are equipped with a bath and/or shower, hairdryer, radio, TV, phone and Internet connection (DSL, WLAN).

The hotel has access to an elevator and is suited to meet the needs of people in a wheelchair.

Parking is possible in the nearby parking garage at Bismarckplatz for € 6,50 per night.
